Learn about Home for Life® and its mission and programs, and learn about volunteer opportunities. Accompanying animals like Sunny, pictured at right, on outreach visits is just one of many opportunities to give of your time with Home for Life®. At our November session, we'll prepare interested volunteers for helping at our dog walk and holiday display at Mall of America.

Rescue Ink Book Signing
When: Saturday October 16, 2010
Where: Best Buy Rotunda at the Mall Of America
Meet Batso, Big Ant, Johnny O, Angel, G, and the rest of the Rescue Ink crew at this free event at Mall of America. The guys will sign copies of their book, Rescue Ink: How Ten Guys Saved Countless Dogs and Cats, Twelve Horses, Five Pigs, One Duck,and a Few Turtles.
First Annual Fancy Feast to benefit Home for Life®
A new Home for Life® event that combines past favorites, the First Annual Fancy Feast is a two-part extravaganza: 1) a motorcycle ride with special guests Rescue Ink and 2) a tasty brunch! Join us for one or both of these fun activities that take place on the same day! We think the ride and brunch events will combine seamlessly, because real men DO eat quiche, and EVERYBODY enjoys fine pastries.
Fancy Feast Part I: Motorcycle Ride and Whetting of the Appetite
When: Sunday October 17, 2010. 9:00 a.m.–10:30 a.m.
Where: Lake Calhoun area, Minneapolis. Exact departure
location TBA.
Enjoy a continental breakfast and then head out with the stars of Rescue ink on a motorcycle ride around the lakes that concludes with brunch at the Calhoun Beach Club.
Registration: $75 per rider. Registration includes:
- Continental breakfast
- Ride pin
- Ride
- Admission to the Fancy Feast brunch at the Calhoun Beach Club
Stay tuned for a special event website where you can register and build your own fundraising page to gather pledges from your friends and relatives.
Fancy Feast Part II: Brunch
When: Sunday October 17, 2010. 10:30 a.m.–1:00 p.m.
Where: Calhoun Beach Club, Minneapolis
Join Rescue Ink and the other ride participants for a delectable brunch, silent auction, live auction, and program. Members of Rescue Ink will be available for a meet-and-greet, photos, and book-signing following brunch and the program.
Registration: $75 per person. For ride participants, brunch is included in the ride registration fee.
