Our animals each have such unique personalities; we're always dreaming up new ways to share all that makes them special so supporters can get to know them better. Of course, sponsoring a cat or dog at Home For Life® Animal Sanctuary is a great way to help all the animals at the sanctuary while following the progress of a particular one who touches your heart.

In this video, we feature three of our wonderful cats who have been overlooked for sponsorship. Butternut and Oskar have been featured before on our Facebook page, but not many people outside of our staff know about Phil. He is a neutered male, FIV+, and was a stray who came to the sanctuary several years ago from the Brown County Humane Society, New Ulm, MN, and he is the inspiration for this video!

Phil is a staff favorite, easy-going, friendly, and athletic. He loves to be outside in the cat runs, and at night, our Nites on Call team reports that he often can be found working out on the cat wheel to keep in shape. He is a sleek cat, almost built like a svelte Siamese, and has a beautiful, solid charcoal grey coat. After the report from our overnight staff about his exercise routine, we came up with the idea for this video featuring coach Phil.

He, as well as Butternut and Oskar, are looking for their very own sponsors.

Koko on the tilesIn the second video, we feature two of our amazing and athletic dogs, Koko the Boston Terrier and Henry the deaf border collie, and give special billing to Koko, who has been overlooked for sponsorship. At just two years old, he had had not less than six placements by the time he found his way to us. He loves toys and would play all day if he could! More about Koko, looking for his very own sponsor who will see all the special qualities in him:

Henry the Border Collie also loves a good game of frisbee, but got distracted during the game, and is eagerly looking forward to the rematch—more about Henry.
