Thanks for the terrific outpouring of support to our Winter Appeal featuring the story of our seven dogs from Afghanistan who came to us last summer from the  Kabul Small Animal Rescue. Their story and the far-reaching impact of their rescue touched the hearts of our supporters and we nearly doubled our goal, meeting our match drive goal of $50,000 by nearly twice the amount needed! This amount does not include end of year gifts nor two grants we also received during this timeframe

Above: Paraplegic Arezoo, only age 1, who wanted to walk on the tops of her hind feet had reconstructive surgery in February, so she can move like a normal dog see more and a vide below!
