Photographer Chris Forslin of the Twin Cities, Minnesota first encountered Home for Life at the Mall of America during the years we had our Holiday events. As a lifelong animal lover and gifted photographer, she was eager to help Home for Life, and our sponsorship program seemed like the perfect opportunity for her to get involved. We were eager to have her out to Home for Life after seeing the incredible photos she did of the animals at the Minnesota Zoo. A few years ago Chris visited the sanctuary for the first time to do the pictures of our animals for our sponsors, and she quickly became one of our favorite photographers after we saw firsthand her genuine love for all animals and her ability to capture the joy and captivating personalities of Home for Life's cats and dogs (and parrots!)
This summer, we invited Chris out to Home for Life again for a photo session of our animals for our sponsorship program. We had a wonderful day with the wildflowers in bloom and sunny blue skies . Chris spent the majority of the day with us, photographing our animals all over the sanctuary, and we believe each photo conveys more than words could express about Home for Life Sanctuary, a true and loving home to our animals.
