We had a chilly spring day Wednesday this week for the first round of spring pictures with photographer Mark Luinenburg, a longtime friend and supporter of Home For Life Animal Sanctuary. The grass was green and the sky colors muted for a beautiful backdrop for Mark's first photos of 2026.

 Our animals each have such unique personalities; we're always dreaming up new ways to share all that makes them special so supporters can get to know them better. Of course, sponsoring a cat or dog at Home For Life® Animal Sanctuary is a great way to help all the animals at the sanctuary while following the progress of a particular one who touches your heart.

The Home for Life® tour season 2026 officially opens the first weekend after Memorial Day. Our tours are by appointment only and are escorted. We prioritize scheduling tours for our donors and sponsors. Please email Home for Life® at info@homeforlife.org or call us at 1-800-252-5918 to schedule a time to visit the sanctuary.

For over 20 years, photographer Mark Luinenburg has been a friend to Home For Life Animal Sanctuary and an important part of documenting our evolution and preserving memories through his beautiful photos of the dogs and cats We like to look back on each year, and its highlights as seen through Mark's photos of our beloved animals. One way we mark the seasons at the sanctuary is through the photos of longtime friend and supporter of Home for Life®, Mark Luinenburg. He was out on Halloween, and the focus was on our animals, adorned in their autumn hues, as well as our new kittens, part of our collaboration with Snaptcats.org.

We at Home For Life are very saddened to learn of the passing of #JaneGoodall, Home For Life Animal Sanctuary's 2018 gala guest.  

We had a great day for the Home for Life® 3rd Annual Beach Party at beautiful White Bear Lake. We had an unseasonably chilly start to the day, but the sky was blue, the sun was warm, and the water was warm. Thank you to our volunteers Bev, TJ, Chris, Bill, Val, Wendy, and Jan for their support and help, Debby Carman of Faux Paw, Laguna Beach, CA, who designed the beach towels, our party favor, and token of esteem for all guests, and all who came out to support Home for Life Sanctuary by attending this event.
