Photos of our work with kids for Peace Creatures: Masonic Children's Hospital, Elementary and High Schools, Fairview Hospitals and Adult programs
Home for Life's® Peace Creatures® Outreach program involve the special animals of Home for Life® Sanctuary, along with our staff and volunteers, in the community in a dynamic way. Our animals pay it forward, offering solace and joy to at-risk and vulnerable people of all ages. Our services are offered to the community which supports Home for Life®, and are provided at no cost to our community partners which include Masonic Children's Hospital, the VA Medical Center Poly-Trauma Unit (one of only 4 such facilities in the entire country), Tubman Family Alliance, Women of Nations, Washington County Sheriffs Department, several nursing homes, memory care centers, hospice facilities in the Twin Cities and Western Wisconsin, and elementary and secondary schools throughout the Twin Cities. Currently, over 1000 at-risk children and nearly 4000 at-risk adults receive pet therapy services at no charge through Home for Life's Peace Creatures programs. No one who meets one of our animals through the Peace Creatures® programs can ever again dismiss them as unworthy of life just because they couldn't live in an adoptive home or keep the home they had. Home for Life's® Peace Creatures® are truly the ambassadors for our mission and our belief that all lives are valuable.
