We regret that we will be CANCELLING EmBARK at the Park! Home for Life's Fall Color Dog Walk which was set for Saturday October 19th.
We are just about 2 weeks from the event and have had few supporters register. The amount of preparation leading up to a Home for Life event like this is considerable, and with the apparent, limited interest in the walk, we had to make a tough decision to call it off as we could not count on attendance drastically increasing in the next days. ...

Rue—Cat Thrown from 12-story Balcony In Minneapolis Survives to Find Her Home for Life

The week started dramatically for Home for Life® Animal Sanctuary ( HFL), based in Stillwater, MN when they received notice from Minneapolis Animal Control about a cat in dire need of help: "Rue," named for the French language spelling of the word street, is a one-year-old female tabby and white cat, who struck the pavement after being thrown from a 12th story balcony in a housing building in the city of Minneapolis.
